Professional Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Experience
I trained as a Hydrotherapist about 13 years ago and Managed Chief Glen Hydrotherapy pool for two years.
I also ran puppy obedience classes on a Sunday morning while I was there and socialised puppies for my boss who also ran a Canine Search company and provided search dogs to many of the large cruise ships at Southampton to check freight and vehicles for explosives.
My desire to work with dogs remained strong and I wanted to be my own boss, so in 2012 I started Elite Pet Services after many of my clients at the Hydrotherapy pool expressed frustration at not being able to find an experienced reliable friendly dog walking/pet sitting service in Bearsted and the surrounding areas.
My ethos is I treat your dog like it was my own and try to give it the very best time possible.
Elite Pet Services has gone from strength to strength on just client recommendation but I would like to offer my services to the wider community so hence why I finally decided to get a website so more people can benefit from my experience and the service we offer.
I am constantly striving to increase my knowledge and keep up to date with training, behaviour and welfare issues.
In 2019 I updated my canine First Aid Certificate along with my husband and daughter and in 2020 I have passed my OFqual Level 3 in Daycare and Homeboarding which is a requirement under my license conditions.
I am looking at starting another Ofqual qualification in 2020 to become qualified to treat various behavioural issues that I see commonly and increase my understanding through science based theories.
I plan to enrol to obtain Ofqual Level 3 in Canine Behaviour and Management later this year in line with licensing requirements.
